❋ The Experience

This is not a typical retreat. It is a culturally rich island weekend created for rest, reconnection, and discovery.

Guests will enjoy a guided experience that blends Sapelo’s heritage with the joy of summer camp-style leisure. Expect good food, coastal air, meaningful conversations, and activities that connect you to the land, water, and history of the island.

❋ Why Sapelo Island?

Sapelo Island is one of Georgia’s most treasured cultural landscapes. Its Gullah Geechee community carries generations of history, resilience, foodways, land connection, and coastal traditions.

This experience is designed to honor that legacy while creating space for guests to learn, rest, and enjoy the island responsibly.

The experience will support Sapelo Strong, a nonprofit organization committed to preserving and uplifting Gullah Geechee heritage.
